Teacher workload doesn’t seem to be reducing, if anything the demands made on teachers are increasing. At MightyMango, we are trying to do our part to help reduce this workload, through the development of tools that save time, do things more efficiently and ‘give teachers back time’ to spend on improving learning.
In recent years a series of surveys have found the increased workload inside and outside the classroom has led to longer working hours for teachers in England.

Most primary school teachers in those schools that continue to use spelling lists, probably spend in the region of 45 to 60 minutes each week managing the system, with most of that time being spent testing and doing paperwork rather than teaching and helping their learners with spelling.
The SpellBots take this burden off teachers, allowing learners to practice through a series of different activities. The system also carries out the weekly spelling test and teachers receive up-to-date information on which to base their teaching and intervention work.
